October saw the opening of Oak House as an art gallery. The first show was of the works of David Rowsell and was in association with Yabsle Stevens Architects and Brusz David attended the Central School of Art, Canterbury College of Art, Birkbeck and Goldsmiths Colleges (University of London), studying Fine Art and Philosophy of Art. david has taught extensively across all areas of art and design theory and practice and at all levels: from secondary to higher education. David began exhibiting at the Leicester Gallery (London) during the mid 1970s and has continued to show work since then with many other galleries, including the Royal Academy, the National Portrait Gallery, the Bluecoat Gallery (Liverpool), the Haworth Gallery and the London Institute Gallery.http://www.bruzh.com/drowsell_p1.htmlshapeimage_8_link_0
